Nirbhaya rerun: In the national capital, Delhi, a woman was gang-raped inside a moving bus. The woman was returning home on foot from a factory at night when the driver and conductor of a sleeper bus pulled her inside and gang-raped her. Around 2 am, the perpetrators dropped her on the road and fled. The police have arrested the driver and conductor. The woman lives in a shanty with her husband and three daughters. When the police, observing her injuries, asked to admit her to a hospital, she refused, saying, "Who will cook the food at home?"

In pre 2014 era, before TV news shouting contest started and when NDTV was still ruling the Delhi, being right wing was almost like being an u touchable. It may be even hard to imagine it today!
At that time Swapan Dasgupta and Chandan Mitra (both Bengalis!) were one of few people to give articulate voice to Right wing in totally unfavorable environment.
Chandan Mitra unfortunately couldn’t live long enough to see BJP victory but he must be smiling from Vaikuntha today.
