I never officially announced this, but earlier this year I was selected to join the MLB Fan Council. It has been an incredible opportunity to provide feedback directly to MLB on topics impacting fans and the future of the game. I am grateful for the chance to represent #Angels fans and the InsideHalos community in these discussions. It has also been a really insightful experience, and I have learned a lot through the conversations and meetings so far. I look forward to sharing some insight and takeaways from those meetings as the season continues! ⚾️

Fun one here for me. Orloski was taken by the Red Sox out of Middleton HS in Idaho in 2023 but went to UTSA. This year he missed a good chunk due to shoulder injury.

Robert Orloski to Angels in 16th, had scary shoulder injury in his first outing that ended his spring but when healthy he was expected to be one of the top mid-major arms in the nation -- kid from south Idaho went to Middleton HS where the new pitching coach is a familiar face

Notable that the Angels have saved a lot of money in the last few rounds. Obviously dependent on how much Grindlinger got in the verbal agreement, but they should have some money to play with in the late rounds

We are now at the obscure part of the draft, but I did love what the Angels did rounds 1-10. Really good value at places with an emphasis on hit tools and starter makeup fastballs. Seems like trusting the scouting department was a great call

INF Donovan Walton has been claimed off waivers by the Athletics

Since he was sent back down to AAA, Christian Moore has played 6 games at 2B, 2 games at 3B and one each at LF and DH. He hasn’t played LF since June 30, which may be a sign they are shutting down that experiment for now.
