Hyacinth Alia, has expressed sincere appreciation to stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state who honoured his invitation to the reconciliation meeting held at the New Banquet Hall of Government House, Makurdi yesterday. He notes that the presence of key party leaders, including the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume, former Governor of the state, Sen. Gabriel Suswam and his Deputy, Chief Stephen Lawani, past and serving members of the National Assembly, All members of the Benue State House of Assembly, serving federal government appointees, and other critical stakeholders, underscores a shared commitment to the unity, stability, and progress of the party in the state. The Governor specifically hails the peaceful conduct of the meeting and the spirit of reconciliation demonstrated by all stakeholders. He describes the outcome as a major step towards reconstructing trust, confidence and spirit of togetherness and cohesion within the party. While expressing optimism that the resolutions reached will introduce and welcome a new phase of peace, oneness, and unison among members of the APC in Benue State, he urges all stakeholders and their supporters to sustain the momentum by embracing dialogue, mutual respect, and collective responsibility in advancing the interests of the party. Governor Alia further wishes all stakeholders success in their respective aspirations and calls for continued collaboration in the pursuit of peace, development, and good governance in Benue State. I was invited by Mr. Hilenen Aben to a cycling event organized by the amazing Freewheelers Cycling Club. I came mainly to cheer everyone on and support the riders. Along the way, I got a bit tired and decided to rest while the celebration and medal presentation continued. Shortly after, some officials and I stepped out to eat. Then something unbelievable happened. One of the participants walked up to me and handed over his medal to me. He said I had done something remarkable and that giving me his medal was his way of showing how proud he was of me. I was honestly speechless. This happens to be my very first medal, and it means a lot to me. I want to sincerely appreciate this amazing brother for such a powerful gesture of love and encouragement. Your kindness will stay with me for a long time. My appreciation also goes to the entire Freewheelers Cycling Club for the warm reception, love, and brotherhood. You people are truly incredible. Thank you all for making this a memorable moment. 🚴‍♂️🏅
