I think he's going to be an elite closer. I see a similar trajectory to Mason Miller. He's going to get knocked around a little, bumped from the rotation and just dominate in the pen.

I think the Gage Wood hype is so typical of the Phillies. Every stat line from his starts are always less than 5 innings. I mean good numbers as a starter but the numbers suggest he’d be a great reliever. Just saying don’t kill me over it

That said, Spangler seems like the type of player that is either going to be an absolute STUD or completely irrelevant. I would hate for him to be a huge deal for someone else.
Now they have to sign him.
