Started meditating in 2019. Began to track each session on March 27, 2024 (through InsightTimer). Interesting stats: - Total time: 204 hours, 15 mins - Average per day: 39 mins - Total sessions: 885 - 265 days in a row - Most meditation: May 2024 (27h, 46m) Takeaways: 1. When I started meditating, I thought it wouldn’t work for me. 2. Tracking has helped me meditate more. 3. Started meditating 5 years, 5 months ago. Have taken 1 year off. Probably means I’ve meditated close to 1,000 hours. 4. You can’t meditate wrong. Just sit there and watch your mind. 5. I continue to do the practice because it makes my life better. It helps create more space in my life. 6. All unguided. Just letting whatever thoughts come up. Sometimes loving-kindness (sending appreciation to myself and world). 7. Divine Moments happen more frequently when I meditate.
