Its been a bit since the announcement of Uniswap V4. There was a lot of hype, however we think it’s super disappointing that the most profitable dex out there with the most resources available didn’t fix the underlying issues with the dex itself and instead added a compatibility

However LP's still get wrecked with this solution and it seems like a band-aid fix for the real problem. if defi on ethereum took a l2 approch using a sidechain settlement that rolled up onto mainnet (cowswap) this would fix the main issues that flashbots is trying to fix making

Flashbot's goal was to decentralized MEV. However it's not working as 63% of all blocks built are by 3 builders doing HFT. This is quite the oposite of there goal. Its harder for the average person to compete with teams of quants vs the software limitation of existing chains.
