Yo,... I hate mixing work and social drama shit, but I don't care anymore, it's affecting my ability to work. Disclaimer: For ethical purposes I won't name names, and I do not use products associated with heady culture. I was not asked to make this post on behalf of anyone, this is me venting on the circumstances, and how it's affected me. Long Story Short: My boss was accused of hitting his ex-gf, only substantiated by her 'word' and an old video of the aftermath. This wasn't a recent event, and no evidence of a police report or charges of domestic abuse were provided to prove it as such. Without further questions or attempting to validate the situation, collaborators have disassociated and distance themselves and aren't willing to consider his evidence, collected over the years, to prove his innocence. I've learned a long time ago to hold off jumping on the bandwagon, to follow the principle of innocent until proven guilty. But the court of public opinion is insane. People have been canceled, thrown in jail, or committed suicide for less. What I know, as of now, is that my boss and his ex-gf have settled, and part of that settlement is that they cannot talk about each other. But y'all love to pick sides and fan the flames and talk mad shit in private group chats when neither party can (or should) comment further or defend themselves. What I can say is, in regards to this glass piece created by Banjo Glass, is that he was one of the collaborators who also faced cancel culture a while back, so he KNOWS what it feels like. My Boss didn't care about Banjo's past, he wanted to help him because he's good as his craft. When this shit dropped Banjo fled, like a coward in my opinion, afraid he'd be canceled again. To me, this is very hypocritical. So... I guess whatever. You learn real quick who your true friends and allies are in the end; who stand on virtue and principle rather than chasing group think and clout.

So OGinc is under fire rn, they're a giant MSO that makes the rosin for PinkyBrewtz and Banjo's rosin brands but have since parted ways with OG inc. so now the glass artists are getting backlash from the ordeal
