In the attached screenshot, I break down the email and highlight the 6 things that made it work. If you only remember 3, make them these: 1. Lead with their pain. They don't care about you or your company. They care about their problems. If the pain is real, they'll keep reading. 2. Show you've done your homework. Go beyond "Congrats on Series B." Reference their tech stack or the world they operate in. 3. Mention their boss. This works really really well. When you connect the problem to someone they report to, you immediately give them a reason to care.
