And his development is not at the level needed for IPL, yet.

CSK may not make it to the playoffs - But with the massive pivot towards youngsters and a long list of injuries (Ellis, Khaleel, Mhatre, Overton, MSD) - This season has shown enough promise. And the younglings are showing signs that they could turn this team into a very competitive unit.
