@SiddharthKG7 Such properties can’t be given away for such family clubs. There are a lot of hotels and private clubs for people.

Along with Delhi Gymkhana, there are about 16,000 properties in Delhi which are on lease. Commercial, residential, institutional, clubs, in all type of usage.
These prime properties have a huge potential to bring revenue for country.
Long ago, Lalu Prasad Yadav tried to get Patna Golf Club and wanted to convert it into a boarding school or a cowshed. Some say this was his plan due to some insult that they did not allow certain caste people to enter.
Lalu could not get it. Golf Club is still there.
But somehow, there is a change in mood of govts nationwide. They are speeding up slum clearance, widening of roads etc work to remove illegals. They should also start a drive to get some good properties back for govt.
I have something personal against these private family clubs. Will share some other day. But I have no sympathies for such clubs.

Prabhu you know generations of bureaucrats since 1947 worked for salaries well below private sector doles. Clubs provided them facilities for sports & reasonable meals. That also insulated them from dependence on moneyed class, which seeks their goodwill.

Any institute or a club funded or supported by government can’t be allowed restrictive and selective use of its facilities. Delhi Gymkhana, Golf Clubs etc all over the country run on free or subsidised huge land parcels provided by the babus ,for the babus and their cohorts only. Others have to wait for memberships till their grand children are born. Now they are paid well, let them join privately run clubs where they can outreach their contacts for networking. @PMO, @narendramodi @AmitShah @IASassociation @BureaucratsInd

Once, a group of police officers slapped a jawan for not wearing a helmet, without realizing that he was barely 100 meters away from his cantonment area.
The jawan returned to the cantonment and told his comrades what had happened.
What happened next was something people there still remember.
A group of jawans reportedly entered the police station and beat up the UP Police personnel involved.
This incident happened in Agra.

Ladies and gentlemen, as I have stated before, the legislative, executive, judiciary, and press have become entirely corrupt. Their power is their right. An ITBP jawan’s mother had her hand amputated in a private nursing home due to medical negligence. The police and the CMO, who are on the payrolls of such nursing homes, did nothing. The jawans and officers went to seek justice for their comrade. I am immensely proud of them. I have served alongside the ITBP and can attest they are equal to the army in training, discipline, dedication, and resilience in the harshest environments. I hope the army also stands with their officers and jawans in similar way.And civil administration learn a lesson—please do not provoke the voiceless.

Some weeks ago, a 31 yo girl approached for marriage.
Asked bunch of questions like can I do this, can I do that with “no offense”. I replied to them.
She sent this huge bio written about her with vague things like she respects values, she is a cultured woman, emotional, family person etc.
I asked her, “what you do?”
She- Homemaker
Her reply made me snap a bit. Unnecessary entitlement at core.
How tf you can be a homemaker even before marrying? Call yourself Unemployed. Wish I was as blunt as she was to me earlier with her demands.
I don’t realise these days women are making home of their own fathers. Absolutely dumb.
I never gave a reply after that. She took offence and blocked me.
