With McVey off the roster, Inter Miami still has 6 center-backs on the roster in Nicolás Freire, Toto Avilés, Serhiy Kryvtsov, Ryan Sailor, Tyler Hall and Ian Fray (plus N. Allen who can play a bit). Not saying they won't go out and get another one, but this move was necessary.

I asked Tata Martino when Leo Messi might be able to return to game action, and the coach deflected:
“If I say a timeline and it doesn’t happen — today I appear to be the biggest ticket salesperson in MLS.”
I reminded Tata he gave us a timeline for Gregore in August, and the manager again deflected:
“With Gregore I have only been asked every now and then.”
I told him that was because he had given us an actual timeline of October, and he deflected again by talking about a lack of updates with the Houston Dynamo’s Amine Bassi.
