What if your washer and dryer—plus all your detergents, cleaning supplies, and drying racks—could disappear behind a seamless wall the moment you're done?

5 tips that helped me the most while planning this kitchen: 1. Elevating the dishwasher. I didn’t expect it to make such a big difference, but having it at a comfortable height changes your daily workflow completely, and you notice it every single time you unload it. 2. Leaving at least 1m space between the island and the countertop. I went for 1.10m because it gives you enough room to move naturally, open every drawer fully, and load the dishwasher without anything blocking you. 3. Thinking about the lighting early. Niche lighting, warm task lights, and a soft overall glow can turn a purely functional room into a space that actually feels calm and enjoyable, especially in the evenings. 4. Planning more outlets than you think you need, including hidden ones inside cabinets. This allows small appliances to stay plugged in without creating visual clutter, which makes the whole kitchen feel more intentional and organised. 5. Choosing materials that age well. Investing in surfaces that stay beautiful over time makes a huge difference because loving your kitchen years later is the best sign that the planning was worth it. Follow for more 🙂‍↕️
