Today Interior Secretary Fisher and I visited an animal rehab facility at Patapsco Valley State Park. This center takes injured wildlife from around the globe for special and modern treatment that no other nation has and is critical for protecting wildlife.

The Department of the Interior applauds Senator Jennifer Carey for introducing S.34002, the Bureau of Land Management Creation Act. This legislation will help the DOI better manage our public lands, and responsibly manage our natural resources. Thank you Senator Carey! 🇺🇸

Today, Secretary Fisher with the new Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Keith Haley. The two made plans for expanding a Gold Card program granting veterans and service members free access to national parks, as well as improving accessibility for disabled veterans. Interior🤝VA
