@InternalUtopia this looks really good! are you still using rigidbodies to detect collisions? i've wanted to move away from unity's physics, but couldn't figure out how i'd do collisions otherwise.

This prototype shows code-based movement that doesn't use Unity's physics, giving players much more precise control!
I need a short break from Wing, but I started this system in Wing and intend to incorporate it back in.

Flapping is most effective when timed properly. I added a feather effect to indicate bad timing, making that mechanic more visible to the player.
As a bonus, the feathers also make for a fun, thematic death effect!
