So excited to be on the Magic Squad for the @getyourteachon 4 Day National Conference in Dallas that starts this weekend!! Officially meeting the brains behind it all @heyhopeking & @ChrisPombonyo literally made my heart flutter!!!

Congrats to @mel_durham’s student from @Austin_Broncos, Ava, for receiving a scholarship from @IISDFoundation today! She is an extraordinary and hardworking student who is very deserving of this award. Evidence that you can overcome life’s obstacles and achieve great things.

We had so much to celebrate within the dyslexia department at #iisdsalutetoservice tonight! 10, 15, 30, 35 years and two retirees! Shout out to all these fabulous educators that have dedicated themselves to the the students at @irvingisd!

His advice to others- “I would tell them to keep trying and don’t give up! I love MTA because now I’m not afraid to make mistakes” he added that he love the program because “now I can read the STAAR questions and understand them.”

The @TownsellElem timberwolves are rocking it with their MTA teacher Ms. Minks. @MissBrooksBooks watched a Kit 7 student read the mastery check like a reading guru. He nailed works like “specimen” and “excavate”. He has been in MTA since 1st grade and is graduating this year!

His experience in MTA did not begin as a pleasant one. Since reading was a challenge, he would have meltdowns when going to MTA. But now it’s one of his favorite times of the day.

Our interventionist @Neystel2001 and @AncaMeyrat know each other so well they came to @crockett_MS dressed alike!
