+2 weeks fully focused on speeding up the upcoming Basecamp 5, especially on the client side. It went from "gorgeous but sluggish" to snappy and frigging good. Super satisfying work.

Still amazed how much I prefer code-first IDEs (actually @cursor_ai) over the Claude/CLI-style workflows.
Being able to point directly at code and reference context precisely just leads to way better prompts, and better results.
CLIs are powerful. But IDEs just fit my brain.

I feel the move from "Editor with AI" to "AI with editor" is needed, IMO it's not quite there yet but it's a good start.
