@JSwigelaar It would be best to chat to your private banker about your options. South African residents can only get a UK Private Bank account with a primary SA account.

@Investec My question is more why not take that in consideration seeing me having that account is linked to me having an active SA account. This prompts the question of should I move all my banking operations to the UK and abandon the SA branch.

@JSwigelaar The minimum deposit is required in the actual SA account not in the UK Private Bank account.

@Investec I have a SA UK Investec account which I believe to be linked to me having a SA account. My bankers are still the South African branch.

@JSwigelaar In order to get to Reward level 2, there needs to be a minimum of R35k deposited into the SA Private Bank account monthly. We don't use the UK Private Bank account transactions in the calculation. Here is more information on how the rewards are calculated investec.com/en_za/banking/…

@Investec @Nqoba_M1 Hi I was told that my Investec SA Uk account would not contribute to my reward level even though based on the transaction level in there I would reach the award level for lounge access. I am very disappointed by this change as was the main benefit used with the bank.

@lekidfromafrica Faster payments are only available from Monday to Friday: 07:00 - 22:00, Saturday & Sunday: 07:00-17:00 and are not available on public holidays. The fees are R10 for faster payments R3000 and below, and R40 for faster payments above R3000.

Am I the only @Investec client that uses "Faster Payment" overnight? Because it's never available on my phone and when it is (during the day), I still have to pay up to R40 for a transaction.
