@ash_williams_87 @markdolman7 Sadly the reality is it's only a success if PL status is maintained. I feel sorry for all the players who graft to get there only to be replaced. Fans sing 'we are Premier League' but that's not really the case. And games get moved by SKY so making plans is hard.

@InvestorAlpine @markdolman7 I prefer the champ myself (no VAR, real fans etc) but promotion and the PL is a sign of success right?! We all want our clubs to be successful.

It genuinely doesn’t bother me one bit watching Ipswich get promoted, or Nunez getting to the prem. it’s their story, hate them, but fair play. I’m am totally excited for ours. Football 100% goes in cycles, our time will come again. And it will feel lovely.

@cosmicpop @houghtonc79 @au_tom_otive How much did or does your car cost to purchase? Mine was £4,000, it's all mine, does 60 mpg, and no EV estate can match its all round abilities.

@houghtonc79 @au_tom_otive It's insane to pay £100 for that. Even with "expensive" public charging I paid around £95 to travel the 1500 miles to the South of France and back in my fully loaded family EV last year. I can get anywhere within a 250 mile radius of home for a maximum £4.

The average petrol forecourt dwell time is 7 minutes (yes, it is - I worked for bp). The average fill is circa 20 litres (200 miles). Charging an EV isn’t the same, but 100 miles in 8 minutes shows how vanishingly irrelevant the difference is becoming.

@au_tom_otive An EV is a bit like your mobile phone, plug it in and walk away while it charges. With petrol/diesel you need to stand there for several minutes while the tank fills, then faff around with payment before or after.

The best thing I can say about the £45k Jaecoo 8 is that I turned up to the launch in a £120k (with options) Cayenne e-Hybrid and the Jaecoo didn't feel like a bag of bolts in comparison. Big improvement on the 7. Review link below:

Safe to say last Thursday/Friday wasn’t rubbish. Road trip in the new RS3 Competition Limited from Frankfurt into the northern Alps, crossing into Austria. Incredible part of the world and a green/gold five-cylinder hot hatch is absolute perfection for me
