Newly opened Jazz Cultural (old Swing46 location) promises to be NYC’s new go-to club. And it’s always a good sign when you see musicians lined up along the walls to hear & support their fellow musicians; peering over the shoulders of @JazzJeli @GiladHekselman @DouglasDezron was a treat in itself while witnessing drummer @Hutchmaniac Kind of Now sextet’s album release concert in tribute to @milesdavis (including piano trio rendition of “Fran Dance” featuring pianist Christian Sands and bassist Larry Grenadier). Also: @NicoleGlover-ts, Josh Evans-tr, Emmanuel Michael-g.
