Been watching mma for like 13 years and that Grasso finish is one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen

I just watched the main event back... Israel Adesanya once again looked razor sharp early on. He was very comfortable on the feet, was landing several clean shots, and his takedown defense looked pretty solid. I think he ate a few Pyfer missiles and his confidence grew which lead to him deciding to brawl looking for that highlight type of KO. If he would've just stayed technical and rangy man. He was working Joe's lead leg. I figured the plan would be butcher the legs early, slow Pyfer down, and then go after him as the fights plays longer. Huge win for Joe and his power + ground game were the X factors. It just feels a bit like Izzy fumbled this... #UFCSeattle

@rakeshkarki_ When they stopped feeding him his usual Vettoris, it is normal to start looking slower and less sharp. The era he champed made he looked very good.

He looks slower every time out But he actually did better than expected and had Pyfer hurt, but he got reckless. It felt like he was more obsessed with creating a moment than actually winning the fight….IT HURTS 💔 Still, Will forever be my favourite fighter of all time !!!!!

Alex Grasso is one of the best boxers in all of MMA. The way she fights behind the high guard & picks her shots with tremendous accuracy is incredible. And her ground game is slick & wicked!

@TevTalksMMA His chin is gone tbf, once he's torched he loses it. The Izzy from Gastelum took many hits and still stood, not much can be said about our guy today, Still a very high level kickboxer and a top top fighter

It’s actually crazy because yes, Izzy is definitely slower than he was 7 years ago but it’s been like 3 years of tactical mistakes leading to losses more so than not being able perform at a high enough level
