@chucksneed69 @shadowstrophe acknowledging statistics isn’t racist, they can actually help us recognize and combat racial disparities when you allow yourself to ask WHY and what factors apply instead of applying improper logic to them to confirm your own bias.

@chucksneed69 @shadowstrophe i thought we learned correlation =/ causation in secondary. black people in the US aren’t disproportionately poor by default it’s a systemic issue. poor people aren’t born either but their circumstances are a higher risk factor. statistics are helpful to critical thinkers.
