You did it Tripoli High School! The Carrie Chapman Catt Award is awarded to schools who register over 90% of their eligible students to vote. These future voters are the future of our state!

Today we honored our friend and former Elections Director, Wes, on the one-year anniversary of his passing alongside family and friends in Waverly. The tree dedicated in his name is a lasting tribute to his leadership, friendship, and service. We miss you, friend.

Yesterday, we attended pre-election equipment testing at the Polk County Auditor’s Office, part of a process happening in all 99 counties ahead of the June 2 primary. Testing ballots and verifying results helps ensure Iowa’s elections are accurate, secure, and ready for voters.
