According to a study conducted in 2022 by the Family Welfare Division and Ipas Nepal, a significant number of women still undergo unsafe abortions. This data highlights that despite legal access to safe abortion services, many women are unable to access these services.

दशौं सुरक्षित गर्भपतन सेवा दिवस : सुरक्षित गर्भपतनका लागि अधिकार, पहुँच र ऐक्यबद्धता १० असोज, २०८१ (10th National Safe Abortion Day) --------------------------------------------------- Nearly 52% of abortions in Nepal are 𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲.

These surveys help assess the knowledge, attitudes, practices, and intentions of community women and girls regarding SRHR, forming a basis for further community interventions.

These CART sessions play a crucial role in fostering community engagement and awareness. Additionally, Natural Leaders conducted Knowledge, Attitude, Practice, and Intention (KAPI) surveys during the CART sessions.

Natural Leaders have been actively conducting Community Action, Reflection, and Transformation (CART) sessions in the implementation areas of Karnali and Lumbini Provinces and Bagchaur Municipality, Ward No. 1, Salyan.
