The "Manifesto" Thread For too long, the conversation about Iraq has been trapped in the past—divided by sect, ethnicity, and outdated traditions. It’s time for a different voice. 🧵 (1/4)

@marklevinshow Except in this case, beside balloch an kurds and some Mojahed no iranian dares or has the ability to fight with guns and face well trained fully equipped brutal IRGC! and all Kurds, Balooch and Mojahed are already being targetted by opposition medias. So, why bother?

ARM THE IRANIAN PEOPLE IMMEDIATELY! I've been calling for this for weeks on radio.  One thing we can do, which Reagan did in Afghanistan, Angola, and Nicaragua, is ARM THE PEOPLE in Iran so they are no longer butchered by these monsters without the ability to fight back!  They will rise up as a real fighting force, but they need weapons!  And it must be done IMMEDIATELY, especially if we are talking about ending our military operation in a few weeks!

so, either the IRGC is going to lay down its arms to save the country, or take it down to hell with itself. #IranWar

The KRG appears to be moving quickly against those who harassed people carrying Iraqi flags in Erbil. That is a sensible step, as the issue is already going viral across Iraq and offers no upside beyond further inflaming tensions. Omed Sabah, chief of staff to the KRG prime minister, said the KRG “will not allow anyone to insult the Iraqi flag, because it is a symbol of sovereignty for all Iraqis.” He added that legal action has been taken against those responsible.
Kurdistan Watch@KurdistanWatch

One reason these incidents, such as forcibly snatching Iraqi flags, which happened today amid celebrations for Iraq qualifying for the World Cup, are so damaging, beyond the fact that they are illegal, is that they carry political costs for the KDP in Iraq. This video is a good example. It was shared by an MP from the Abshir Ya Iraq faction, and it is also spreading widely across Iraqi social media. That matters because Abshir Ya Iraq is in the Maliki camp in the current battle over the presidency and premiership, the same camp the KDP is aligned with. Videos like this make that alignment harder to sustain, especially at the MP level, where many politicians are more populist and more sensitive to public sentiment. This also helps explain why the PUK often finds it easier to maintain ties with some Iraqi factions. It is not only about Iran, as is often claimed. That may be one factor, but there is also a clear Iraqi dimension. Many of these factions see the PUK as less overtly anti-Iraq, which makes it easier for them to justify working with it. The KDP, by contrast, has in fact tried to soften its messaging on Iraq. Nechirvan Barzani, Masoud Barzani, and Hoshyar Zebari all congratulated the Iraqi national team. But that becomes harder to sell when videos like this emerge from Erbil. Many Iraqis interpret such incidents as something the KDP could stop if it wanted to, and therefore as something it is at least tolerating. Whether fair or not, that perception matters. In that sense, these incidents are a net negative for the KDP. They damage its image in Iraq and make it harder for Iraqi factions, especially more populist MPs, to openly align with it.

🚨 BREAKING: Sec. Marco Rubio just dropped TRUTH NUKES on the doubters for two minutes straight, and he said it perfectly He's so good at this. "Under NO circumstances can a country run by radical Shia clerics with an apocalyptic vision of the future ever possess nuclear weapons, and under no circumstances can they be allowed to hide and protect that program and their ambitions behind a shield of missiles and drones that no one can do anything about!" "Many Americans are asking, why did the United States have to attack Iran now? Well, let me EXPLAIN." "Iran wants to have nuclear weapons...they build their reactors and their facilities deep in mountains, away from the public glare, and they want to enrich that material." "Why the attack now? Well, what was Iran trying to do? Iran was trying to build a conventional shield, in essence, have so many missiles, have so many drones, that no one could attack them, and they were well on their way." "We were on the verge of an Iran that had so many missiles and so many drones, that no one could do anything about their nuclear weapons program in the future. That was an intolerable risk." "This was our LAST best chance to eliminate that conventional threat, that conventional shield that they were trying to build, and the president made the right decision to wipe it out now." "That is the goal of this operation, to destroy their conventional missiles and their drone program so they can't hide behind it, and finally have to deal with a world seriously about never ever having nuclear weapons." WELL SAID, MARCO 🇺🇸

@grok @IDFFarsi @grok, Naloxone is included in the textbook as an antidote for opioids. How did they wait for Mossad to provide them with it? Couldn't they have tried it on their own if they suspected opioid poisoning? Or was it that naloxone wasn't a known agent at that time?

The Jordanian doctors at King Hussein Medical Center did recognize it: symptoms (rapid coma, respiratory shutdown, no trauma) matched opioid overdose toxidrome exactly. They treated with naloxone—the standard antidote—after Israel supplied it under diplomatic pressure from King Hussein. The ear-spray delivery hid any marks/history, and the ultra-potent synthetic analog (fentanyl derivative) was classified/novel in '97, but the class was obvious clinically. It worked.

Yes, the 1997 Mossad attempt on Khaled Mashal used a potent fentanyl derivative (levofentanyl/opioid toxin) sprayed into his ear. It mimicked an overdose and was designed to be lethal without traces. Jordan forced Israel to provide the antidote (naloxone), saving him. Same chemical class as the one in Iran's program.

UPDATE 🔴 Preliminary report: A joint IRGC–Hezbollah convoy of 5 black SUVs in Jnah, Beirut, carrying a very high ranking Hezbollah commander, was targeted. At least 11 eliminations reported. Multiple missiles used to destroy each vehicle. It’s a very bad day for Hezbollah, I’ll get you the names when I have it.

This didn’t affect war fighting capability at all. It’s a financial loss. One the U.S. will absorb. The IRGC is a different story entirely. They opened with 170 missiles on Israel per day. Today they’re down to 3. Their entire military complex has been nearly destroyed. We are 4 weeks in, and the U.S. says it still needs 2-3 weeks in Iran.
