Human biology is what anchors you to reality in your physical form. The stronger your connection to your body, the better human you can become. Mental illness is essentially a disconnection between brain and body. When you eat plants for long periods of time, you’re poisoning yourself, your hormones shift into survival mode to compensate and preserve scarce nutrients. Over time, this triggers chronic illness, mental disorders, cancer, and Alzheimer’s. We’re only meant to be in survival mode a couple of times a year, for no more than 10 days at a stretch. The rest of the time, we’re designed to thrive in ketosis on a natural diet of meat, fat, and salt. Eating plants spikes insulin and flips the switch to survival. Sugars, starches, and gluten are the main culprits. High insulin locks away your fat stores, scrambles over a thousand hormones to protect the body, and shuts down normal repair and growth. It even starts burning muscle for nutrients. Plants are high in energy but low in usable nutrients, our digestive system simply can’t access most of what they offer. Meat and fat deliver the opposite: dense nutrition with low energy load. Evolution proves it. To build a large brain and small, efficient body, you need high nutrients and low energy. Plant-eaters end up with big bodies and small brains, the exact reverse. Humans have the highest brain-to-body ratio of any species because we were strict meat-eaters for over 400,000 years. Only about 11,000 years ago did we start eating plants out of necessity. (A global catastrophe struck, wiping out the giant animals we hunted) There’s a real chance we’ve been devolving ever since, and those ancient stories we dismiss as myths might actually be true. All that i can tell you is that modern science on diet is almost a complet lie to sell you garbage and make it so you never challenge the system. It is a fascinating topic, with this knowledge you can become a healthy human.
