#OSCE26CH | Glad that a consensus was reached on the 2026 Unified Budget, ending a 5-year stalemate. In times of tension, this shows that #dialogue and #compromise deliver. The #OSCE remains a key platform for co-operation and #security. #Switzerland is committed to strengthening its #ability to act.

🇺🇦🇮🇪 Happy #StPatricksDay to all our Irish friends and @dfatirl colleagues! Ireland and Ukraine both know the true value of independence. We sincerely appreciate Ireland’s steadfast support for Ukraine, including the generosity shown to Ukrainians who have found safety and shelter in Ireland, as well as Ireland’s active role in advancing collective European efforts toward a just and enduring peace. We wish the people of Ireland peace, prosperity, and well-being. Beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig oraibh! ☘️

At a time of global turmoil and great challenge, we look for signs of hope in the everyday. To Irish people and friends of Ireland everywhere, we wish you a very happy St Patrick’s Day! Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona daoibh.

📆Today saw the last security dialogue organized under the French 🇫🇷🇪🇺 chairmanship of the OSCE Forum for Security Cooperation (FSC), dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Subregional Arms Control Agreement (Article IV of Annex 1-B of the Dayton Accords). This topic is of particular importance. Thirty years after its signing, this agreement is one of the few conventional arms control instruments in Europe to have been implemented continuously and effectively, contributing to military transparency and stabilization in the Western Balkans. Three speakers shared their analyses and feedback: • Katarina Djokić, researcher in the SIPRI Arms Transfers program • Lieutenant General (ret.) Michele Torres, former Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office for Article IV • Momir Brajić, Minister Counsellor and Head of the NATO and Partnership for Peace Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The discussions were particularly rich, focusing both on the conditions that enabled the negotiation and sustainable implementation of this agreement, and on the challenges it faces today. #OSCE26CH #Security #Peace 📸Micky Kröll @FateneB @SwitzerlandOSCE @OSCESecGen @francediplo @DGRIS_FR @benjaminhaddad @jnbarrot @UKOSCE @IrelandOSCE

Finland chairs the @OSCE Asian Partners for Co-operation Group this year. Today, 🇫🇮 organized a meeting on the long-term impact of girls' education bans on security and stability of Afghanistan and the wider region. Thanks to all participants for the important discussion!
