She recalled "feeling pretty" after the makeup application on what was an "immensely stressful day". She noted that "before" photos used by critics were often nearly a decade old, taken when she was around 22 and before she was of "legal drinking age". She revealed that her physical transformation was tied to a period of intense stress where she had "barely been able to eat and sleep," leading to her being "10 pounds thinner".
