@TomBilyeu The challenge is that most self-sabotage is at the subconscious level so your employees may not know themselves what those invisible goals might be. What it all comes down to is “neurological safety”. Create that safe space for your employees and they’ll follow you anywhere.

Self Sabotage is real, and it starts with Invisible Goals. Invisible Goals are things that an employee wants for themselves (recognition, pay, artistry) which are never spoken, and create conflict with Stated Goals. If you have a member of your team who is constantly pulling in a slightly different direction... dig and find their Invisible Goals. Just ask. Then, you can align your incentives and move forward together.
