Today, I signed the Book of Condolence at Lancaster House.
In sympathy with King Charles, the Royal Family, and British people, on the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth, who did so much for reconciliation on these islands.

Am long blocked by both Owen Jones and Paul Embery but I still put some money in their pockets and bought their books. Which was very nice of me, I thought. Anyway, I’ve read them and they both offer a good snapshot on the current state of the left. Worth a read.

A shot I got by chance last year. Was walking through Port Sunlight and spotted this squirrel running across the road with a Weetabix in its chops. Luckily it paused for a few seconds halfway up a tree.
