Behind landmark constitutional law cases often lie brave litigants who risked a lot to bring their cases to court. So it was with Mary & Seamus McGee whose courageous case led to the legalisation of contraception in Ireland 51 years ago today. It was a privilege to meet them.

It's #WorldContraceptionDay! Our clinics have seen first-hand the success of the free contraception scheme. But many clients are excluded for no reason other than age. Extending the scheme further is critical - cost shouldn't be a barrier to contraception use for anyone.
