On this day, May 21st 1798, Henry & John Sheares were arrested as organisers of the 1798 Rebellion. Henry was arrested at his home at 128 Lower Baggot St. Dublin & John was arrested when he knocked on the door of Dr. Lawlor's home on French Street. #irishhistory
