My visit to Savannah, Georgia started by meeting representatives of @irishprisons, including Chief Officer at Mountjoy Prison, Peter Guinan. The Irish Prison Service will also be participating in the Savannah St. Patrick’s Day parade tomorrow. 🇮🇪

Earlier today staff at Wheatfield Prison intercepted a drone delivery into the prison that resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of contraband. The Irish Prison Service continues to have high level engagement and the sharing of intelligence with An Garda Síochána.
