CALGARY, ALBERTA - Police for the public’s help to identify a man who is believed to be responsible for a random assault that occurred at the Marlborough CTrain Station last month. On Friday, July 11, 2025, at approx. 4:25 p.m., a man was standing on the platform at the Marlborough CTrain Station, located at 889 36 St. N.E., when he was approached from behind and assaulted. The victim fell to the ground, where he briefly lost consciousness and the suspect fled the scene. The victim and suspect had no prior interactions and are unknown to each other. The victim was transported to hospital in stable condition and has since been released. At this time, this assault appears to have been random. Investigators are now looking for the public’s help to identify the suspect, who is described as 5’9” tall, 170 pounds, with a slim build, blond hair & darker facial hair. He has tattoos on both arms & left leg.
