@IronyDigest

Concerned citizen. I play hardball, no prisoners: Fiscal conservative, socially liberal. I'm hoping for a common sense revolution - not holding my breath.

@globeandmail Oh, good. Now we'll get another endless parade of stories about how he had another cognitive test and aced it ... never explaining that only people who are cognitively suspect undergo these exams at the frequency he has them.

@katiederosayyj @KerryLynneFindl Wow. False AND untrue. I guess in her mind, it can be one or the other without being both. That's the mind of a true, modern Trumpian conservative!

@JoeSquawk If so, it was a format that needed hurting. Joking about kissing Jack Niklaus' balls for luck in no way informed the viewing audience while entertaining at the same time. If you recall, prior to the T-Rump error Colbert and others also made jokes about both party's foibles.

Definition of a rhetorical question.
Variety@Variety

Has #StephenColbert’s push into politics hurt the late-night format? Late-night was never supposed to play to a particular type of audience: #JohnnyCarson made fun of politicians, but mostly their public goofs, not their policies. #JayLeno rarely became political. And #DavidLetterman feuded with politicians but not over what they did in Washington. In 2026, late-night shows are a wholly different creation. “These shows were built to be vaudeville in the box in your living room,” says professor Dannagal Young, who studies political satire and the media preferences of liberals and conservatives. “They were a place to watch jugglers and clowns and funny people doing impressions. They were not made for this.” wp.me/pc8uak-1lHirU

@reedgalen Yes, except the far left will demand things the political middle will find too extreme to support and we'll end up with another GOP win.

@CNBC Why do you use the word "allegedly" when you talk about someone committing a crime in front of hundreds of witnesses and also caught on video? But when the Liar and Chief says anything, THAT would be the time to use "allegedly" because almost everything he says is a lie or wrong.

@t7p44jxpmw @CastanetNews I'm a Conservative, you moron. I need a competent, ethical, HONEST one to vote for. Apparently you vote jersey color, not integrity. Until a44wipes like you wake up, incompetence in the left is far better than blatant dishonesty on the right.

@i_saim1 Depends: on the economy, Clinton. On a sensible overall steady hand, Obama, For comic relief, Bush. For most pathologically mentally unstable and personality disordered, T-Rump. You see, it depends on "favorite" for what?

@chrisdanfo82958 @CNN Interesting concept. I thought good Chreeeestians thought it WAS a reward to die. I guess its the difference between the three levels of faith: Christian, hypocrites and wanna-bes, although for the life of me, they all look the same.

@SquawkCNBC When he says they've "done a million things" ask him to name three. I bet he can't. Whereas I can name far more they've done that RAISE prices.

"The bottom line is inflation is going down at the microeconomic level because of a million things that we've done," says NEC Director Kevin Hassett. "But at the macroeconomic level, the driving force right now is temporary increase in the price of gas." cnb.cx/4u5oCcE

@SquawkCNBC Maybe somebody ought to 'splain a few things to Kevvy MAGA: 1) A "million things" is more than two 2) If gas is higher, every product gas moves to market is higher too. For example, there are very few vegetables that self-transport to your local grocery store.

@CNN That's a phenomenon in Nature known scientifically as "weather." When you have a large weather system, in this case a "warm front" (more scientific jargon for you) many places within it will feel that warm trend. In the meantime, REPORT ON WHERE ARE THE DAMN EPSTEIN FILES.
