On a serious note, this is quite embarrassing for CAF. If Senegal truly broke the rules, the referee should have ended the match in Morocco’s favor. Once the referee allows play to continue, the result should stand. At most, CAF could have sanctioned Senegal , perhaps by banning them from the next AFCON and granted Morocco automatic qualification.
