In contemporary crypto lending systems, accessing capital is constrained by a rigid requirement for overcollateralization. To borrow one hundred dollars, a user is typically required to lock assets worth significantly more. This structure limits participation to those who already possess substantial capital, as the system operates without any understanding of borrower identity or credibility. By contrast, traditional financial institutions extend credit based on trust derived from verifiable information. Mortgages, credit cards, and business loans are issued by evaluating factors such as income, credit history, and identity. In these systems, trust meaningfully reduces the need for excessive collateral. Rialo introduces a paradigm shift by bringing this trust based model into the crypto ecosystem. Borrowers are able to verify key credentials such as creditworthiness, banking relationships, identity, and repayment behavior. These verified signals enable a reduction in collateral requirements, in some cases potentially below the value of the loan itself. What distinguishes Rialo is its approach to privacy. All data is verified without being exposed, remaining confidential unless a default event necessitates disclosure. The scale of opportunity is substantial. The global unsecured lending market is estimated at approximately 4.7 trillion dollars, while on chain lending remains around 56 billion dollars and is overwhelmingly dominated by overcollateralized models. This imbalance highlights a significant gap that Rialo is positioned to address. To illustrate this potential, a dynamic pricing engine has been developed. It allows users to simulate lending scenarios by adjusting credentials and loan parameters, observing how collateral requirements and interest rates respond in real time. As more verified information is introduced, the system naturally reduces the need for upfront capital, aligning digital lending more closely with the logic of real world finance. @RialoHQ | @AhmedNir | @RollinsR79

Distributed trust is the cornerstone of robust security. We are diving deep with a 5-part technical series on how threshold systems eliminate single points of failure by requiring a quorum of participants to execute cryptographic operations. The first two modules are now live: 01 | Distributed Key Generation: An analysis of how groups jointly generate shared keys without any participant gaining knowledge of the full secret. This lesson covers Shamir's Secret Sharing, Lagrange interpolation, and honest-world key generation. 02 | Verifiable Secret Sharing: Moving beyond the honest-world assumption. This module explores Feldman’s VSS for share verification and Pedersen’s protocol for achieving DKG without a trusted dealer through complaint-based disqualification. Stay tuned for the remaining three parts of the series. Link below:
