Daria Boyarskaya, who worked for Russia’s foreign ministry and interpreted in high-level meetings - incl. one between Putin and Trump - is coordinating the OSCE's election monitoring mission to Hungary next month. Hungarian rights groups are worried. theguardian.com/world/2026/mar…

Putting someone from a fascist dictatorship and police state in charge of an election monitoring mission to a country where the leader is backsliding on democracy: What could go wrong?

@PhilipObaji Here in Poland, we are well aware of the Russian threat. But the rest of Europe needs to be convinced, which is why we have to talk about it and present evidence. Thanks for your great work! 💪

I came to Amsterdam with a goal: to tell Europe about Russian operations in Africa; how they are aimed at creating a migration crisis in Europe and undermine democracy in the EU. I came to ask for partnership with Africa to combat this. I am here for seriousness not complacency.

This is what Prigozhin did in Syria, and Marsalek tried in Libya. For over a decade Putin has been weaponising migration to undermine the EU - and with Farage’s Leave EU campaign and Syria, it worked to create Brexit

Heartbreaking. A young boy has lost his father, who gave his life defending both his family and his country from Russian aggression. No child should ever have to live through something like this. Remember it. And do not forgive. 📹: United24

🧵8/8 A national security adviser for Trump, Fiona Hill, said that the Kremlin had handed the Trump-Putin meeting interpreting job to Boyarskaya, whose social-media posts have featured numerous images of herself posing in glamorous photoshoots, in an attempt to distract Trump.

A 2023 investigation by Paper Trail Media, DER SPIEGEL, ZDF and Der Standard showed how the Kremlin is infiltrating OSCE and sabotaging its work, detailing – among others, and without naming her – Boyarskaya’s case. Poland’s Internal Security Agency (ABW) sanctioned Boyarskaya in November 2022, designating her an undesirable person. “Her activities to date unambiguously position D. Boyarskaya as a supporter of Vladimir Putin’s regime, which — in light of Russia’s military actions in Ukraine and the hybrid war being waged against the Republic of Poland — creates a serious risk of provocation or the incitement of incidents detrimental to Poland’s international standing,” Poland’s interior ministry explains. In February 2023, Boyarskaya was detained attempting to cross the Lithuanian-Russian border. More in the German-Austrian investigation: spiegel.de/international/…

🤯You can't make this up: amid Kremlin meddling in Hungary's election, OSCE PA sends Vladimir Putin's former interpreter Daria Boyarskaya – sanctioned by Poland, detained by Lithuania – on an election observation mission to Budapest. More in my newsletter: vsquare.org/goulash-putins…

Yes, Tucker Carlson is now promoting Oswald Mosley, the leader of the British nazi party on the eve of WW2. For character reference as to who Mosley was - he was married at Joseph Goebbels home in Berlin, with Hitler himself in attendance, with financing for his party coming from Germany. Mosley was "anti-war" toward Germany in the way that Carlson is "anti-war" against Russia - give them whatever they want. Tucker is making millions from hostile foreign regimes as was Mosley.

This kind of stuff happens during war. We should be on guard.

Nine-year-old Anna Sokolova died on March 20, 2022, in the basement of her apartment building near Azovstal, Mariupol. Her mother, Yana, recalls the last hours: “We were hiding with my little daughter in our apartment on the second floor. A neighbor family joined us. On the morning of March 19, a bomb hit right by our window, damaging the apartment. That night, everyone went to the basement. Explosions never stopped. Around 4 a.m., after another bomb struck, two ceiling slabs collapsed. I survived, as did the neighbor’s daughter, whom I pulled to safety. My daughter, Anna, had a slab crush her legs — she died from her injuries. A few hours later, the five floors above collapsed. Six people in total died under the debris.”

The occupiers have destroyed #Alushta’s landmark -the iconic White Rotunda. The symbol of Alushta - the White Rotunda is now just a memory. Under the guise of "renovation," the occupiers have razed this architectural monument to the ground, UNITED24 reports.

I read this and there is very little ambiguity in what is happening. Sanctions on russian oil are being lifted, which means more money flows back into Moscow, and at the same time russia is preparing new offensives against Ukraine in the fifth year of a full-scale war that has never paused for a single day here. None of this exists in isolation, and none of it is difficult to connect: resources turn into weapons, weapons turn into strikes, and strikes turn into the same images we see every morning — destroyed homes, killed civilians, cities that are slowly being erased. What is difficult to comprehend is not russia’s coldly calculated behavior, which remains entirely consistent, but the decisions that make this continuation easier, taken openly and explained as if the outcome were not already known. From here, it no longer looks like miscalculation or even stupidity. It looks like a conscious willingness to let this war continue on terms that benefit the aggressor. apnews.com/article/russia…
