The mistreatment of women in childbirth can be so institutionalized and ingrained that it is accepted as “normal” behavior, this needs to be stopped, women need to informed of their rights and empowered to exercise them freely regardless if their baby is born alive or stillborn

Last week @Isa2019M the mistreatment of women with #PregnancyLoss was discussed. In many places they face ridicule and violence. We need to discuss this, & learn about loss. Care for women with #Stillbirth with courage and empathy, not with fear. Thread ⤵️
