Sorry, I didn’t meant to include ipa there. My point is: tesa, CJC-no-DAC, and sermorelin ultimately release the same endogenous GH. Tesa just has measured VAT data. Lack of VAT data for CJC doesn’t mean it doesn’t affect VAT, and lack of sleep data for tesa doesn’t mean it doesn’t affect sleep. The differences are probably just gh pulse curve and AUC. With the ones I listed.

3 growth hormone peptides. Most people only need 1. Tesamorelin - potent for belly fat, but pricey. Sermorelin - gentle, sleep-focused, but mild. CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin - more GH, broad results, fraction of the cost. For most, we start here. Which are you running?

@TheDrMAWZ The cost is too high on a long time horizon. The shift back to Tirz is already in motion.

Retatrutide is the most powerful fat-loss compound ever put in humans. It is also a sympathetic-state drug. Elevated resting heart rate, suppressed HRV, blunted morning erections in some users. The fat comes off. The autonomic cost is real and almost nobody is measuring it.

Unpopular opinion: HGH is overrated. It's not a peptide—it's a hormone. If your goal is longevity, muscle, and recovery, I'd rather stimulate natural growth hormone production with a secretagogue than flood the body with HGH. Physiology > pharmacology.

@sondering__ Moreso the lack of food noise + brain glucose metabolism Totally anecdotal although there’s some interesting early studies though!

Reta vs Tirz (My n=1 observations so far) Reta: - Higher RHR - Okay sleep quality - Better fat loss - More baseline energy - Little to no post meal crash - Strong appetite suppression - Some GI discomfort (at start) - Faster satiety signaling while eating - Moderate nootropic/focus effect - Zero desire for alcohol Tirz: - Lower RHR - Great sleep quality - Better weight maintenance - Lower baseline energy - Occasional post meal crash - Mild appetite suppression - Mild GI discomfort (acute after dosing) - More delayed satiety signaling while eating - Mild nootropic/focus effect - Zero desire for alcohol Reta: 2-2.5mg weekly (6 months, goal: fat loss) Tirz: 2-3mg weekly (3 weeks, goal: weight maintenance) (Not medical advice, this information is for research purposes only)

@isaacbklein Just made the switch last week and my sleeping HR is down 10 BPM and I get more deep sleep which is exactly what I was hoping to achieve.

I truly believe that in 5 years Tirzepatide is going to be the best all around GLP solution Reta will be looked at as an aggressive solution for those okay with some trade-offs Semaglutide in my opinion will be looked at like an artifact in a museum Tirzepatide… just right 👌

@isaacbklein Reta for 6 mo -> tirz maintenance is the way to go IMO (and personal experience). The only reason sema will stay strong for a few more years in Canada is that generics are out at $70/mo.

I truly believe in 5 years that Tirzepatide and Retatrutide will be a thing of the past. We are in a new era with AI and self study. Would not be surprised a single bit to see a GLP compounded that not only has the popular effects that everyone loves from Tirz and Reta… but instead of simply helping the fat to come off someone figures out a way to convert the fat to muscle in a rapid way. Once someone does this both Tirz and Reta will be a thing of the past. Yes, some will likely still use them… but the new shiny thing will hit the scene. People will show insane results and it’ll spread quicker than Retatrutide popularity.

@mattbramanti Maybe a hot take but I think Reta will be hard to top For aggressive weight loss there is maybe not much better

@isaacbklein I feel like shit on trizepitide. Body aches and disgusting sulpher burps. Conversely, I feel great on semaglutide.

I truly believe that we are just starting to scratch the surface of what is possible with metabolic engineering, and ALL of these drugs will be looked as primitive overgeneralized solutions in 5 years.

@SusanBearry There’s a non-negligible amount of people who even at the lowest dose and more frequent dosing still believe the side effects too intense for long term use Myself included The RHR increase was too much for me outside of a 3 month cycle

@isaacbklein What trade-offs? The side effects of people experience, from what I have read and in my personal experience, are easily mitigated by lowering the dose, or taking smaller doses more frequently.
