We’re clearly not out of the woods on inflation yet. And if the president imposes sweeping tariffs, economists believe prices could shoot up even further — not to mention the potentially catastrophic inflationary effects of mass deportations.

Just In: Progress on inflation is stalling. The Federal Reserve's preferred inflation gauge PCE was up 2.6% in 2024. PCE excluding food and energy was up 2.8%. Both metrics have risen slightly since the summer. Now President Trump is about to add tariffs on Mexico and Canada that will almost certainly raise prices.

Devastating news in DC as all those involved in last night’s mid-air collision are feared dead — and all this made more painful by the chaos of unfounded political attacks on “DEI.” We have to be better than this. Keeping the victims and their loved ones in my prayers.

Despicable. As families grieve, Trump should be leading, not lying. We put safety first, drove down close calls, grew Air Traffic Control, and had zero commercial airline crash fatalities out of millions of flights on our watch. President Trump now oversees the military and the FAA. One of his first acts was to fire and suspend some of the key personnel who helped keep our skies safe. Time for the President to show actual leadership and explain what he will do to prevent this from happening again.
