You’re combining false dichotomy with a straw-man argument. Supporting 1P1V in principle does not mean accepting any process labeled ‘democratic’ without scrutiny. Democracy is not just voting day, it also requires legitimacy, consensus, constitutional procedure, fairness & nationwide participation. Unfortunately, all of those are missing. A small example is the constitutional changes. Amendments were not agreed upon through broad national consultation. Over 50 MPs were removed from parliament before the vote. NCC did not have full participation. Somaliland is not in the picture.
