(Brewery, Eats, Fun) in Manhattan Beach, California, involving a group of men that were practicing their rights in the area and the establishment's owner, Michael "Mick" Drasnin. ​The incident began across the street from the business as the cameramen were approaching the crosswalk at the same time as Drasnin. Drasnin seemed bothered by the men filming and while he was crossing the street he threw an object at the cameramen. This of course prompted them to follow him to his business where chaos ensured. The situation reached a breaking point when the verbal sparring turned physical. In a moment that would eventually lead to serious legal consequences, Drasnin is captured launching a metal-framed chair and a bucket of water at the filmers. ​The "High-Risk" Intervention ​The drama took a tactical turn when the Manhattan Beach Police Department arrived on the scene. Responding to a 911 call that reportedly alleged a potential weapon was involved, officers initiated a "high-risk" or "felony" stop. The footage shows the intense moment officers utilized their patrol vehicle doors as cover while ordering the filmers to walk backward with their hands raised. Once the scene was secured, it was determined the cameramen were the victims, and the focus shifted back to the initial physical aggressor. That said, it sure took those police a long time to take those cuffs off the victims. ​The aftermath for Michael Drasnin was swift: ​Criminal Charges: He was arrested and charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon (the chair) and Battery. ​Court Results: The case eventually concluded with Drasnin receiving probation and restitution requirements. While his defense argued he felt harassed and overwhelmed, the court maintained that physical assault is not a legal response to being filmed in public. Public Apology: Drasnin made several public statements and social media posts expressing regret for his actions. He attributed his behavior to a "momentary lapse in judgment" caused by the stress of the filming. Beyond the courtroom, Vibes Co. faced a massive wave of "review bombing" and public relations fallout that serves as a cautionary tale for business owners on how to—and how not to—conduct themselves in public.

Kickboxing Kevin loses his mind gets sprayed police get called. This one took place in orange county CA at a place called 9th round kickboxing fitness. One of their members just calling him kickboxer Kevin, came out of the gym and immediately became aggressive towards the men with cameras. Swinging his boxing gloves and yelling at the men, eventually one of the camera men pull out some spray to keep the man away. Kevin continued to advance and got sprayed. Immediately Kevin charged the camera man causing a bunch of damage to a Porsche nearby. Kevin then retreated back into gym. Shortly after police arrived and you would think they would have went straight for the man to detain him while information was being gathered. However instead they seemed completely uninterested is even finding the man. In the end all they did was issue the man a citation for the event. Blows my mind that someone could conduct themselves in this fashion and not be arrested.

Near as I can tell this contractor did a lot of work for a Karen including building stairs, and a landing off her deck . She is refusing to pay halfway through the job saying he’s not licensed . So the contractor starts to pull down all the work he did.. He never clarifies if he’s licensed or not . Who is in the right here ?

Knowing your rights changes EVERYTHING. Watch what happens when they try to shut this camera down… Kaitlin Bennett was filming people-on-the-street interviews at the Winter Garden Farmers Market. Police and city staff told Bennett her activities needed to be conducted outside the event's perimeter, as past market practices typically restricted event activity to approved vendors. When she entered the event area, she was issued a trespass warning and threatened with arrest. Following a review, the City Manager and the Police Department acknowledged that the market, while hosted by a third party, took place on unclosed public right-of-way. The city rescinded the trespass notice, apologized, and permitted Bennett to return, noting that the restriction violated her First Amendment right to record in a traditional public forum. Bennett subsequently returned to the market the following week. Bennett was also involved in a similar situation at the Lakeland Farmers Market in May 2025. In that instance, she claimed her free speech rights were violated after police responded to complaints about her filming and "hateful statements". However, city officials clarified that she was not trespassed from the market, though the dispute drew local attention regarding the boundaries of filming on public spaces. No legal cases or arrests were ultimately filed in either situation.
