@LocalErikaSimp Also I am sure you re well aware while 4 drive and 3 drive doesn’t sound that big of a difference on paper, 4 drive spread across 2 attack twin twin is far more potent than twin -> single let alone single triple swing that people can just pg and call it a day.

People asked me, "Why are you still playing Bavsargra?" Other than comfort, I think it's one of the best pick right now. This meta heavily favors going 1st. If you go 2nd and your deck can't stabilize, you WILL LOSE. That's the reason why she'll always be a consideration.

@LocalErikaSimp If you wanna talk about consistency, kaicon is consistently 4 attack deck (extra attack with drive too) hard printed on the vg, while bav is a 3 attack deck unless you see yuggma which you need to hard draw into. You also need to hard draw into your pieces ars/trickmoon/vairlord

@Iskanda48693463 Its a matter of consistency. Kaicon flops over and dies if those 2 drives don’t show triggers, bavs can live with it. By your logic, Wirbel is better than Bavsargra. Kaicon only filters 2 cards anyways, so I don’t understand how it’s common for the deck to pull OT.

@LocalErikaSimp Also I am just saying “in modern vanguard pulling OT is more common than ever” due to how modern deck draw/filter so much so by persona turn the deck so thin and with constant triple, quadruple even quintuple drive OT check is more common.

@LocalErikaSimp Restanding vanguard is always strong in vanguard, it checking 1 crit is already deadly, having access to Veda just made the deck extra potent. Is bavsargra a better deck? It’s hard to say because restanding with drive is just hard to beat when triggers can swing the outcome.

@LocalErikaSimp I said that “it’s hard to say bav is better than kaicon because the deck have access to dragveda”, because that deck is double twin restanding vanguard that have access to dragveda = high ceiling of 3x vanguard swing with drives.

@LocalErikaSimp Just because it have high drive count. Kaicon have 4 drives on persona turn, it draws so much from belico, scarlet flame, berserk etc filter 2 with ride line and more with jaran so by its persona turn if OT is still not out the probability of pulling the OT is very high..

@LocalErikaSimp @AresCFV Like soul saver turn is so deadly cuz it’s almost impossible to stay low dmg with cerrgaon access hitting realistically unguardable & dmg trigger unstoppable column from turn 1.. And Kaicon just win the game if they pull Veda

@AresCFV I thought this was a pretty strong pick actually, im seeing more and more people drop bavs even tho she continuously keeps having a better time in the meta lol genuinely think if you’re not playing fish aichicon or kaicon the next best option is bavs (I think this deck > kaicon)

@origin_ssb @AresCFV Not underrated.. It’s just there is no place for “good deck” in the meta that is so toxic that it’s either BDIF(overpowered) or lose.. In high stakes tournament (if you competing seriously) how can the 4th - 5th best deck even get chosen?

@AresCFV Yeah I think bavsargra is still really good right now I think people underrate this deck cus it lost trickmoon and Vairlord also this deck definitely works harder then the other top decks right now

@AresCFV It’s pretty much like BDIF vs BDIF : 50 50 BDIF vs Good non BDIF like bav/rezael: 75 25 BDIF vs Bad non BDIF : 95 05 So why even go for non BDIF if competing seriously..?

- These decks suffer from board removal (exc Reg) - They need constant reride if you stabilize and drag the game longer (exc Odium) - The 20k shield helps a lot, especially when it works twice during Odium divine. - Having Gojo helps cycle your Arms in early game, which is huge

@BracelandVG @HakuYink Rezael is strong starting from rezael turn when the new orcades start going online but Aichi icon is strong at any stage of the game due to access to cerrgaon.. Also rezael needs to fight with at least 8 shieldless card (rezael copies and gabwelius) while soul saver 10k shield…

Thought I'd put out a preliminary DZBT14 tier list for EN format. I feel pretty confident in the placements on the list. Excited for the release in June

@BracelandVG @HakuYink Cools, if you want to say I am a bad player, sure perhaps that’s true but regardless of my own result, as I mentioned the tournaments tops speaks for itself. Just visit vg paradox and see the deck performance for yourself.

@HakuYink @BracelandVG Definitely not S.. Don’t know what this guy is smoking.. Dzbt14 been out for months now in JP and Aichi icon is still far more dominant deck and rezael is barely able to get top cut in tournaments.. As a rezael player I get the sentiment and cope but sadly not true..

@BracelandVG Can u explain why rezael is in S? It seems like a fair deck with a new foolish burial.

@KelseyTaitWill @BBExceed Sadly, rezael just can’t match that level of insanity at this point.. As a rezael player I wish the deck can be S tier too but we need to live in reality and the jpn tournament tops just says it all.. Currently, Aichi icon is just overpowered across the board comparatively

@KelseyTaitWill @BBExceed Then they just call whatever to the other column most of them have on call draw skill (on top of that they can even retire) so they lose nothing set up powerful column, if they have another cerrgaon or check crit the game pretty much unwinnable at that point unless you heal

@KelseyTaitWill @BBExceed Like if they go first they just need 1 cerrgaon to set up deadly attack since they get free booster via wingal and FV synergy then call flogal 5k crit boosted by cerrgaon will be 18k dmg trigger bypass column while having boosted vanguard

@KelseyTaitWill @BBExceed Realistically speaking rezael only start drawing on their G3 turn, pretty much like all deck except yakuza, rezael is weak in the early game which is why it cannot be called S tier for now.. Aichi icon early game is insanely strong while having equally if not more insane late..
