@jamiesmart Like you said, I hope the recognition of how much of a place children's graphic novels are from publishers gets reflected to those who deserve it.

Not thrilled about celebrities moving into children’s comics now, I’ll be honest with you. We were just getting started, new comic artists were being given lots of chances, it’s been nice. I really hope publishers and booksellers will still support the smaller titles 💪

We all know a certain someone has announced his first graphic novel. For a multitude of reasons, don't buy it. There is a whole host of top quality graphic novels out there. I'll start off with one alternative, I'd love people to add their own.👍 Thread 👇

Miss, how many books am I allowed to borrow? 2…however that number is very flexible 🤪 A wise librarian taught me to bend the rules. If it’s a Friday or the start of a half term, the keen reader can take as many as they can fit in their bag 👌 #readingforpleasure #librarian

Truly sad to hear of the passing of the wonderful Benjamin Zephaniah. Not only so many children's route into poetry for so many years but a compassionate human who had a powerful voice for unity. I'll be reading my copy of Funky Chickens tonight.
