Had a great joint session with @IsobelDslt and @mirandaleachSLT today doing the Multiple Errands Test at WHSmith with our lovely patient who has aphasia and apraxia. She was so nervous but did so well that we’ve planned discharge home🤗

A brilliant morning on placement in the VF clinic, learning from two great SLTs and lecturers! The air con was an added bonus 🤩 thank you for having me!

The journey to placement this week looked a bit different to the previous bedroom -> study walk. It was lovely to see the clients enjoying face to face interaction again after 18 months of online sessions.

Thoroughly enjoyed my first week of placement in brain injury, stroke and neurological disorders. I’ve loved the variation of working with clients in the community, on the ward and in outpatient clinics. Very pleased that I used the CAT to assess language comprehension 😁
