As an aviator, I humbly urge restraint in amplifying our national airline’s challenges in the open press. Airlines, like banks, are built on confidence. Headlines shape perception, and perception shapes survival. Our national carrier is more than a company it is a strategic asset, a symbol of connectivity, jobs, skills, and national pride. Challenges should be addressed constructively, professionally, and with a long-term vision, not through damaging public narratives. Let’s support reform without undermining trust, strengthen rather than weaken the brand, and protect an institution that carries our flag, our economy, and our reputation across the world.@UgandaCAA @GenWamala @HonEchweru

@DouglasLwangaUg This is an old rhetoric that we seem to run with every year results are released. The annoying thing is that many education stakeholders haven't really penetrated with the real message of the mindset shift. We still think vocational/ technical alternatives, ABEK are for failures.

Yes, the PLE results are out. The sad reality is that for many pupils, this marks the end of their educational journey. This is where the school dropout dilemma begins. Their path stops here. But what comes next for these children who wont continue even with Universal Secondary Educ.?? What skills have they acquired at this primary stage, and how do we secure their future? Over to you.

@NextGLeaderUg Growth requires friction

At NGL class, we value Pan Africanism....Afande David took us through an eye opening session on the need for Patriotism for every citizen in Uganda. Oohh my what a session it was! I can't wait for the physical training soon.

I was pleased to meet with the Bodaboda leaders from the Kampala Metropolitan area today at Kololo. They represent 102 Saccos and I have contributed a total of Uganda Shillings 10.2 billion—100 million for each Sacco. These SACCOs are not for the Rich Business people "Abagagga" who are looking for profits but rather the motorcycle riders specifically intended to empower them. Secondly, this money should not be given to money lenders, as their exorbitant interest rates are unacceptable. it should be used to pay for the value of the motorcycle the way it is. I emphasized that loans should only be issued at an annual interest rate of 6%. This rate is not meant for profit but is intended to combat inflation. I will formalize this in writing, and anyone who defies it will face legal consequences.

I spent the day in Masindi celebrating International Youth Day with my Bazzukulu. I urged them all to embrace wealth creation and support government programs like the Parish Development Model (PDM) to help our communities get out of poverty. To combat poverty, we must prioritize commercial agriculture with Ekibaro, using successful local farmers like Hon. Fred Byamuka as role models. We are also focusing on the manufacturing and services sectors, particularly in digital technology. Additionally, we are planning to establish an industrial park in Hoima, which will create jobs and economic opportunities for our youth! Finally, I reminded them that the PDM funds belong to them. They should protect these funds and demand accountability.

Today we are hosting Hon.Minister @Balaam in Agwok,Padwot Subcounty, Nebbi District for an assesement of youth programs and beneficiation like PDM,Emyooga,Youth likelihood and UWEP.

President @KagutaMuseveni calls on youth to embrace PDM and take on the four sectors of Agriculture, Industry, Services & ICT at the International Youth Day celebrations held in Masindi. Theme: “Youth Advancing Socio-Economic Transformation through Technology and Partnerships.”

Leadership in our generation is not about titles but about courage—courage to act with integrity in broken systems, to stand for truth in noisy spaces, and to serve when many seek to be served. True leadership is tested most in challenges.
