Kenya and Israel share longstanding diplomatic and economic ties built on cooperation in agriculture, trade, innovation, technology, and security. Yesterday, Israel’s Ambassador to Kenya, Gideon Behar, met with Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Security, Kipchumba Murkomen, to explore ways of further strengthening collaboration between the two countries, particularly in the area of cyber security and national resilience. The discussion also touched on broader global security concerns, including the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, and the importance of dialogue and multilateral cooperation in advancing peace and stability. 🇰🇪🤝🏽🇮🇱

The Iranian regime targets civilians on purpose. Iran is launching cluster warhead missiles that explode mid-air and scatter explosives across a wide area. These weapons aren’t designed for precision. They’re designed to kill as many civilians as possible.

Gideon Behar: We acted in self-defense for us and we have seen Iran developing a comprehensive strategy to destroy Israel, dominate the Middle East and to threaten all moderate countries in the region by doing 3 things: Developing atomic bombs, ballistic missiles capable to launch atomic bombs against Israel or any other country that does not comply with what this regime wants and the third is to support terrorist organizations throught the region and beyond. #KTNPrime @LeahNgari @IsraelinKenya

Gideon Behar: This regime is giving billions of dollars to proxies. They don't give money to the people. The people are suffering. Gideon Behar: I want to remind us why this war has started. This is a war of the free world against a totalitarian, terroristic regime which has no legitimacy by its own people. The Iranian people are against this regime which oppressed them for decades and Israel and the US have started a preemptive strike against this regime because this regime was developing nuclear capabilities, bombs that they wanted to later on use against Israel and to threaten the whole region and the entire world. #KTNPrime @LeahNgari @IsraelinKenya

@FGaitho237 @IsraelinKenya @GideonBehar The reality Francis, is that we operate in a global free market. Goods flow where the demand is highest; if a KE producer can get a better price in Country X than Y that is where they will sell. That isn't conspiracy-Its Economics 101. Israel doesn't dictate market forces 1/2

The Israeli ambassador to Kenya @IsraelinKenya @GideonBehar has noticeably ramped up his media appearances lately, flooding timelines and airwaves with messages of partnership and shared destiny. It’s time Kenyan journalists cut through the noise with one straightforward, uncomfortable question: what exactly does Israel import from Kenya? Let’s be precise. “Investment” doesn’t count when Israeli-owned farms in Naivasha or Solai grow flowers, vegetables, and avocados solely to ship them back to Israel. That’s not bilateral trade; that’s a classic extraction scheme - Kenya supplies land, water, labor, and tax breaks, while Israel reaps the profits and the produce. Real trade means balanced exchange, not one-sided looting dressed up as economic cooperation. The data tells the truth: Israel consistently takes far more from Kenya than it gives. Beyond the lopsided goods flow, the so-called “security cooperation” is even more damning. Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration acquired Pegasus spyware - a tool built by NSO Group and facilitated through Jeffrey Epstein’s network and Ehud Barak - specifically to surveil, silence, and intimidate journalists, activists, bloggers, and political opponents. William Ruto has continued the pattern with recent missile defense system deals. Go back further and you find the same playbook: the bogus @amiran_kenya - Simoco police communications project under Daniel Moi and Nicholas Biwott was little more than a sophisticated conduit to siphon taxpayer money into foreign pockets. Contrast this with Iran, which actually imports Kenyan tea - providing smallholder farmers with roughly $50 annually per household before Rigathi Gachagua’s sabotage through engineered fake shipments from neighboring countries disrupted the trade. Iran buys real Kenyan product. Israel? Mostly takes, gives little, and sells tools of repression in return. The ambassador’s recent surge in visibility demands more than biblical fables and mythical appeals to shared Abrahamic heritage meant to excite low-IQ audiences. If Israel truly values partnership with Kenya, let’s see the tangible numbers: balanced trade figures, actual imports from Kenyan producers (not Israeli farms on Kenyan soil), and transparent accounting of what Kenya gains - not just what foreign entities extract. Until then, the noise is just that - noise. Kenya deserves substance, not scripture. And journalists should demand it @EricLatiff @ChikoLawi .
