This my second time seeing a post like this today lol. To me, Choosin Texas feels like one of the biggest records of the post-COVID era. I see and hear it everywhere. Hits may have carried more weight back in the day because media was less fragmented, but today’s audiences are spread across streaming, TikTok, YouTube, radio, and different online communities. Just because a song isn’t showing up in your algorithm doesn’t mean it isn’t making major noise.

Hits truly don’t hit like they used to because when WBT had its run…. You couldn’t go anywhere without hearing it…. I’ve not only never heard this song… but never heard of this artist 😭😭😭😭

Megan and Glo both charted on billboard this year as features. Megan at #67 and Glo at #90. Megs placement lasted two weeks. Glo’s lasted one week. The list also includes culture impact, critical acclaim, touring, and brand deals. Glo has neither over Megan. The real crime is Sexyy being so high on this list when the album she released this year didn’t chart AT ALL. I guess two Drake features (lasted one week and two weeks) got her into the top 3.
