@thebirdisblue23 @papadoc1000 @QueenAnticommie I’ve worked with disturbed kids for 25 years. 100s of them. I’ve seen what their problems are. All of their parents thought they were doing well. They’re usually the last to know or accept. Look at that kids reaction. If you think that’s ok, that’s on you. Good luck for you.

ANY adaption of Dune should start with Thufir‘s interrogation of Jessica and go outward from there. Instead this is the common missing critical scene in all adaptations. I’m convinced that most filmmakers don’t even understand the book, much less have talent to adapt it.

@therealHeaDKasE The Lynch stands on its own, separate and apart from the book. I love the sci-fi miniseries from 2000. Denis Villeneuve is a fucking idiot who should be imprisoned for stupidity and not given money to make movies. Still, the first movie: Dune for Dummies sucked less than expected

@therealHeaDKasE Those would be the 3 adaptation or the second reboot technically. 4th and 3rd if you count Jodorowsky's Dune which never made it out of pre-production.
