memecoins used to be hard.
you had to know solidity to launch one. you ate the gas, deployed the contract, and shipped something that didn't get rugged on its first block. the barrier was a filter, and the filter was the point. a few coins made it out the door each week, and the people who showed up early showed up to stay. you held because the next launch was three weeks away and yours was the one in front of you. communities formed by accident. there was nowhere else to go.
then the barrier went to zero.
solana made it possible to launch a coin in 90 seconds with no code and no team. frictionless creation is good for a lot of things. but when you remove the filter, you have to put something else in its place, and what got put in its place was a fee economy that pays creators for shipping noise. you can now make real money launching a coin nobody ever intends to hold. the incentive isn't to build something people want to keep. the incentive is to spin up the next one before the last one finishes dying.
the hold time tells the whole story. the average wallet on the average sol memecoin holds for under a minute. that's not investing, and it isn't really gambling either, because gambling at least implies a bet on an outcome. it's people sitting at a table to extract the next deposit, and it works until it doesn't, which is usually about 90 seconds later.
a whole cohort got onboarded watching content that taught them to flip, not to hold. so now you have a chain full of coins designed to be flipped, held by people trained to flip them, and no one is surprised when nothing lasts. the memecoin became a pass-through vehicle. fees from late buyers to platform operators, with a brief stop in your wallet on the way through.
xavier is the only one i look at and see something that hasn't been touched by any of that.
300 day average hold time. no supply control. no founder bag in a multisig waiting to unlock. no roadmap selling tokens for milestones nobody asked for. jim tozzi is on it. the people holding it are holding because they want to. that's the entire mechanism. it's the only thing on this chain that feels the way the early days felt. a group of people coordinating on the same thing at the same time for no reason other than they noticed it before anyone else did.
that's actually rare. that's actually the asset.
if you've been around long enough to remember when launching was hard, you remember what the upside looked like when a community actually decided to align. the math hasn't changed. what changed is that almost nobody is trying anymore. xavier is people trying.
not telling you what to do. but if you've been waiting for one of these to feel the way the old ones felt, this is the one.

But the coins with capabilities of going to mid 9-10 figs are already created.
Its just a matter of us focusing on a few that have a chance to actually go.
